Hot on the heels of Silver City Days, Trail and Rossland are raising the bar with their inaugural Burger Month! 🍔 We’re all big fans of Nelson’s version of this contest, and can’t wait to see what Trail/Rossland have in store.
Starting today, June 6th, and running until June 30th, this delicious competition features seven local restaurants battling it out for bragging rights (and the coveted title of “Best Burger in Town”).
Here’s the Rundown:
7 Competitors: Birchbank Bistro, The Colander, Taco Debacle, Trail Beer Refinery, Tunnel Pub, Rock Cut Pub, & Velvet Restaurant (The Josie)
Creative Masterpieces: Each restaurant presents a one-of-a-kind burger for $17 (plus tax). Sides and drinks are extra, and highly encouraged.
The Power is in Your Hands: The winner will be decided by YOU! Vote online for your favourite here!
Burger Bliss & Big Wins: Not only will you sample Trail and Rossland’s finest specialty burgers, but you’ll also have a chance to win a $25 gift certificate from each participating restaurant by voting!
Bragging Rights on the Line: The winning restaurant will be crowned the “Best Burger in Town”. It’s all on the line for these 7 competitors!

How to Vote
Votes will be tallied after the competition closes June 30th! Make sure to vote for your favourite before then online or by ballot at each participating restaurant.
There will be a winner crowned in each of three categories:
- Best Presentation
- Best Tasting
- Most Original
