I am organizing a hike to paint/sketch the beautiful wild camas near Castlegar. This is a short and steep trail, approximately 1km to the wildflower fields but very steep- a big hill! You should have moderate hiking fitness with supportive footwear. Consider bringing poles.

There is no formal instruction and this is a free community event. You are responsible for your own safety and art practice. 🙂

I will lead the group to the wildflower area, we’ll have about 1.5 hours to paint/sketch/photograph/explore, then we’ll regroup to share our work. Bring your art supplies, as well as snacks, water, and sun protection.
