The Basin Food Film Festival isn’t just about watching movies — it’s about gathering together to eat, think, laugh, and celebrate the many ways food shapes our lives. For a few delicious days, we’ll serve up a feast of documentary films, conversations, and tastings that spark both your appetite and your imagination.

This year’s menu of events is as diverse and tasty as the Columbia Basin itself. From film premieres to sweet local indulgences, from short films to big ideas, every event offers a chance to connect with food, drink and community.

The three days of events are curated by well-known Nelson food journalist Jon Steinman who was behind the popular Deconstructing Dinner Film Festival between 2012-2017.
