We match teams of volunteers with those in need in our community to help with fall yard clean-up. This free service is an annual event hosted by Nelson & District Hospice Society and helps raise awareness and support of local programs offered in the community to the dying and bereaved, and their families. Money is raised at this event through sponsorship and donations. Let us know if you can help.

Community volunteers work as a team and spend up to six hours on Work-a-Thon Day doing garden cleanup, raking leaves, cleaning gutters, doing a dump run, or any other outside cleanup, for the elderly, disabled, or seriously ill who can no longer manage their fall yard work.
