A Country Road Theatre Performance and Creation Lab, hosted by the Vallican Whole this September 20th – 22, 2024, will be an artist-focused series of performances, workshops, discussions and community-networking events that is designed to empower theatre and performance artists. Together we will germinate the next new wave of impactive, exciting and relevant art making for those who call the Kootenay mountains home.

Created for performers, playwrights, directors, presenters, producers and practitioners, this festival will aim to ignite contemporary artistic development, while also fostering local connection and collaboration.
