🌿 THE WILD MOTHER GATHERING 🌿

Join us in the heart of the Slocan Valley for a one-day gathering created by mothers, for mothers. Together, we will explore the many dimensions of motherhood through movement, learning, creativity, connection, ceremony, and community.

Whether you are dreaming of future children, pregnant with your first child, raising little ones, navigating the teenage years, supporting grown children, or simply carrying the wisdom that comes through mothering, you are welcome here.

✨ THE DAY INCLUDES ✨

• 13 workshops and experiences led by mothers and maternal care practitioners

• Morning yoga to begin the day grounded and connected

• Opening and closing ceremonies to gather in community and honor the journey of motherhood

• Ecstatic dance and movement experiences

• Workshops exploring motherhood, embodiment, wellness, creativity, personal growth, self-care, relationships, and community

• Two workshop spaces — one indoors and one beneath a forest event tent

• A curated artisan marketplace featuring local makers and mother-owned businesses

• Nourishing food from local vendors

• Opportunities to rest, connect, and enjoy the beautiful natural setting of the Vallican Whole Community Centre

• Meaningful conversations and authentic community with mothers from across the region

✨ KIDS CAMP ✨

A supervised Kids Camp will be available for families wishing to fully participate in workshops throughout the day. Children will enjoy crafts, games, nature play, and engaging activities in a supportive environment.

Mothers who do not purchase a Kids Camp ticket are still welcome to spend time with their children in the Kids Camp area and family-friendly spaces throughout the day. Please note that children may only be left under the supervision of childcare staff if a Kids Camp ticket has been purchased.

Applications are currently open for:
• Vendors
• Volunteers

We warmly welcome applications from vendors and volunteers who identify as mothers, as well as those whose work supports mothers and families through maternal care, wellness, education, birth work, postpartum support, or related fields. Our intention is to create a gathering shaped by those who deeply understand and honor the journey of motherhood.

This gathering is an invitation to slow down, be nourished, and remember that motherhood was never meant to be a solitary journey.
