Classes, pot luck, scavenger hunt, sing-alongs and general silliness. as well as the Shires A & S contest.
Site Fees
18 and Over: $20 + nms
16 – 17: $10 no nms
15 and Under Free
This is a Provincial Park so be mindful that their rules supersede ours. Please give all due respect to any and all Sasquatches you may encounter.

Their most Royal of Highnesses will be joining us so please bust out all your FAFO garb and bunting. Let there be rainbows!
The Schedule will be in accordance to the Royal Whim.
There is delicious potable water on site, There is no electricity on site. Electronic charging options elsewhere in the Park. Charming outhouses are near by with more civilized options elsewhere in the Park. Shower amenities also lurk in the Park.There is a beach with access to the Kootenay River, some folks would say that it is cold, I would say its refreshing. There is a very cool Nature house nearby for enrichment and Osso coffee.
Towns within a half hour radius for shopping and small grocery store nearby for last minute snacks and such like.
Food attracts critters so pack and store your food accordingly.
There may be a fire ban or if not, then wood is available for purchase at the main gate. No outside wood.
The A & S contest to determine this years Champion is as follows.
Make a scrip that represents Appledore. The winner is then the A & S Champion and the bag is to be then worn by future champions as well as the current one.
The site is small but charming with a warming hut/cabin with a stove.
Parking at the site and close by.
In the camping areas, tents pegs are ok.
In the common area, the grassy bits, tent or pavilions are to held down with weights. NO Spikes or pegs.
